Needy students can find help on campus
Riverside County van visits with guidance on public assistance

The event was organized by the Basic Needs Resource Center, which plans to bring the van back to the college campus roughly twice a month for the rest of the school year.
College students can get more than class instruction.
At Riverside City College, those in need can get guidance in finding help.
On Thursday, a Riverside County van visited campus for a few hours to assist students who may need support from CalFresh, Medi-Cal, CalWORKs or the General Assistance Program.
In addition to the Riverside County Department of Public Social Services van, a table offered pamphlets on resources.
The event was organized by the Basic Needs Resource Center, which plans to bring the van back roughly twice a month for the rest of the school year.
