Puddle of Mudd’s Scantlin arrested

Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin was arrested March 11 on charges of felony domestic violence and drug possession, according to TMZ. Police were called to a physical altercation at an apartment in Torrance, where officers allegedly observed visible marks on his girlfriend’s arms. According to Consequence of Sound, Scantlin was still in Los Angeles County Jail as of Saturday morning with bail set at $90,000.

The incident comes just eight months after he was arrested in Burbank during a standoff with authorities. Scantlin was reportedly stopped in his Hummer by police, who realized he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest after having a weapon at an airport. When he refused to get out of the vehicle, a SWAT team was called.
