Inland Empire History Day planned Saturday at Norton museum in San Bernardino
Panning for gold will be one of the activities at the Inland Empire History Day event Saturday.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of the Norton Air Force Base Museum, 1601 E. Third St., San Bernardino, and admission is free.
There will be presentations by local historical societies, museums and authors, plus artisans giving demonstrations of pioneer crafts.
The Redlands Fourth of July Band will provide music, and an Abraham Lincoln presenter will be at the event, according to the event flyer.
Inland Empire History Day is presented by the San Bernardino International Airport, the San Bernardino Historical and Pioneer Society, the Highland Area Historical Society and the Norton Air Force Base Museum.
