Kelly Frances Gablehouse Calkins formerly of Boulder, CO passed away January 15, 2025 in Melbourne, FL after a brief illness. She was 63.<br><br>Kelly was born in Boulder, CO and graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Liberal Arts and Colorado State University with a M.Ed. in Adult Education and Training.<br><br>She is survived by Donn L. Calkins, her loving husband of 43 years, three older siblings Timothy (Barbara), Daniel (Delia), and Nancy (Sheldon), Uncle Frank Willburn, Aunt Mary Ann Gablehouse, 4 nephews, 4 nieces, 8 great-nephews, 3 great-nieces and many beloved cousins.<br><br>She is preceded in death by her parents, Reuben H. (Gabe) Gablehouse and Genevieve M. Willburn Gablehouse.<br><br>Kelly was a pianist, fiber artist, quilter, historian, crocheter, mental health and small business advocate, shepherd, and animal lover.<br><br>A favorite quote of Kelly's, "If we could spread love as quickly as we spread hate and negativity, what a wonderful world this would be."<br><div><br></div>
