Artturi Lehkonen had two goals and two assists, Cale Makar also scored twice in a milestone night and the Colorado Avalanche beat the Dallas Stars 6-3 on Saturday.

Makar put the Avalanche ahead midway through the second with his 100th career goal, making him the fifth-fastest defenseman in the NHL’s modern history to reach the mark, doing it in his 362nd game.

Jonathan Drouin and Casey Mittelstadt each had a goal and two assists, and Colorado improved to 10-3-1 in its past 14 games to move into a tie with the Stars for third in the Central Division.

Jason Robertson had two goals and an assist for the Stars.

FLYERS 3, DEVILS 1: Bobby Brink and Travis Konecny scored in the third period to lead Philadelphia.

SENATORS 6, BRUINS 5 (SO): Tim Stutzle scored in the shootout to lift Ottawa over Boston.

Leevi Merilainen, who made 23 saves in regulation and overtime, turned away all three Bruins in the tiebreaker. Josh Norris had two goals for Ottawa, and Stutzle added a goal and an assist in regulation.

CAPITALS 4, PENGUINS 1: Jakob Chychrun, Aliaksei Protas and Pierre-Luc Dubois scored, Logan Thompson made 18 saves and NHL-leading Washington beat Pittsburgh for its fourth consecutive victory.

Thompson came up just short of becoming the first player in club history to record three shutouts in a row, when he allowed Bryan Rust to score midway through the third. His shutout streak ended at 198 minutes, 22 seconds, the longest in the NHL this year and third in team history.

RANGERS 1, BLUE JACKETS 0 (SO): Vincent Trocheck scored the only goal of the shootout, Igor Shesterkin stopped 27 shots as New York snapped Columbus’ six-game winning streak.

FLAMES 3, JETS 1: Dustin Wolf made 38 saves and Blake Coleman had a goal and two assists to lead Calgary over Winnipeg.

LIGHTNING 5, RED WINGS 1: Nikita Kucherov and Jake Guentzel each had a goal and two assists, helping the Tampa Bay beat Detroit.

Tampa Bay blew the game open early in the second, scoring three times in a span of 3:52 .

MAPLE LEAFS 7, CANADIENS 3: Toronto scored seven unanswered goals to overcome a three-goal first-period deficit to beat Montreal.

Bobby McMann, Nicholas Robertson, William Nylander, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Steven Lorentz, Auston Matthews and David Kampf found the back of the net for Toronto.

ISLANDERS 4, SHARKS 1: Mathew Barzal and Brock Nelson each had a goal and an assist and New York snapped a two-game skid.

Noah Dobson and Ryan Pulock also scored and Marcus Hogberg made 18 saves for the Islanders.

PREDATORS 6, WILD 2: Filip Forsberg had two goals and two assists to lead Nashville to their third consecutive victory.

BLACKHAWKS 5, GOLDEN KNIGHTS 3: Tyler Bertuzzi scored two power-play goals and Chicago beat slumping Vegas to end a four-game losing streak.

The Golden Knights have lost a season-high three straight and five of six.

UTAH 4, BLUES 2: Clayton Keller had a goal and three assists, Logan Cooley added a goal and two assists and Utah snapped a three-game losing streak.

CANUCKS 3, OILERS 2: Quinn Hughes scored twice, Danton Heinen also tallied in the first period, and Vancouver held off Edmonton.
