Joana Marie Flood passed away on October 23, 2024, in San Jose, California, at the age of 81. Joana was known for her compassion, empathy, and strong-willed nature, always prioritizing the needs ofothers before her own.

Joana is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lentz; son, Robert Flood; grandson, Benjamin Lentz; sister, Mary Castillo (Richard); nieces, Camille Leach (Jon) and Kate Weisend (Nik); great aunt to Edda and Soren Weisend, and Daphane Leach. Godmother to, Michelle Madruga, and Michael Guerra, and leaves behind many cousins. She was preceded in death byher parents Peter and Anne Guerra.

A passionate gardener, Joana found joy and peace in tending to her plants, nurturing them to thrive just as she nurtured her relationships.
