MOTOWN THROWDOWN
The NFL’s first-ever regular season meeting between 14-win teams turned into a mismatch Sunday night in Detroit. For the victorious Lions, the spoils include the NFC’s No. 1 seed and a first-round playoff bye. For the vanquished Vikings, it means they will begin their playoff trek with a wild-card game against the Los Angeles Rams ... and that they have very likely played their last game on their home field for this season.
