Gigi Hadid has finally broken her silence on her romance with Bradley Cooper, over a year after they were first linked.
The model, 29, spoke to Vogue about her “very romantic and happy” relationship with the 12-time Oscar nominee, 50, in an interview published Tuesday.
“You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating,” said Hadid, who met Cooper at a backyard birthday bash for a mutual friend’s child. But, being famous, “There’s another added layer of privacy and security.”
Hadid said it’s “essential” to discover “what you want and deserve in a relationship.”
“And then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve … and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be. I just feel really lucky. Yeah, lucky’s the word,” she said.
While Hadid shared she does “respect him so much as a creative” — and Cooper similarly encourages her, even prompting her to “take the leap” and go on auditions — she said she hopes to keep elements of their love story private.

Surprise celeb officiated Mulaney-Munn wedding
John Mulaney is sharing details about his wedding with Olivia Munn.
The pair reportedly married at a friend’s home in New York over the Fourth of July weekend last summer. Mulaney revealed some moments from the event during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Monday.
The comedian and actor revealed that Sam Waterston, Munn’s co-star from “The Newsroom,” officiated their ceremony, as Waterston “once said to Olivia, ‘If you ever get married, I’ll perform the ceremony.’ ”
Kimmel then asked why Waterston had said that.
“I think it was chit chat,” Mulaney said. “But you take people up on what they offer.”
