Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 51 points and the host Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Houston Rockets 137-128 on Monday night for their 50th win of the season.

Gilgeous-Alexander reached 50 points for the fourth time this season. The NBA’s scoring leader finished with at least 40 for the ninth time in 2024-25. He made 18 of 30 field goals, went 5 of 9 on 3-pointers and hit all 10 of his free throws.

Jalen Williams added 24 points for the Thunder (50-11).

Cam Whitmore matched career highs with 27 points and 11 rebounds for the Rockets, who were missing several key players.

Hawks 132, Grizzlies 130: Caris LeVert made a layup as time expired, finishing with 25 points as visiting Atlanta rallied to beat Memphis.

Desmond Bane had has first career triple-double for the Grizzlies, but Dyson Daniels stole the ball from him with 3.8 seconds remaining. LeVert got the ball and streaked down the floor for a layup that beat the horn.

Bane led Memphis with a season-high 35 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Warriors 119, Hornets 101: Steph Curry had 21 points and 10 assists and visiting Golden State pulled away in the second half to defeat Charlotte for its sixth win in seven games. Buddy Hield scored 22 points for the Warriors.

Miles Bridges scored 35 points for the Hornets.

Kings 122, Mavericks 98: Zach LaVine scored 22 points and DeMar DeRozan added 20 as visiting Sacramento beat Dallas with the Mavericks losing Kyrie Irving late in the first quarter to a left knee sprain.

Irving landed awkwardly after being fouled. He was helped to the free-throw line and sank both shots before being helped to the locker room.

Kai Jones led the Mavericks with 21 points and nine rebounds.

Pistons 134, Jazz 106: Cade Cunningham had 29 points, nine assists and four steals and visiting Detroit beat Utah for its 10th win in 11 games.

Kyle Filipowski finished with a career-high 25 points for the Jazz.

Cavs’ Jerome fined $25K: Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ty Jerome was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Monday for public criticism of officials following his team’s 133-129 overtime win over the Portland Trail Blazers.

Jerome was upset that the teams were called for a combined 53 fouls and shot 70 free throws Sunday, which included 35 for each team. The average NBA game has less than 40 fouls called.

Mavericks raise ticket prices weeks after Doncic trade: The Dallas Mavericks revealed Monday that they are raising season ticket prices for next season, just weeks after dealing star Luka Doncic to the Lakers for Anthony Davis.

The Mavericks said season tickets will go up by an average of 8.61% next season and the increase is due to “ongoing investments in the team and fan engagement.”
