84 Portola Valley Born in Jersey City to Edmond and Victoria Mailly, June spend her early years in New Jersey. After high school at Malborn High she attended college at Northwestern where she earned her BA and Masters in Education. She earned her Ph in Education at Stanford University and made the bay area her home.

After several years as a teacher and administrator she became the Executive Director of the California Association of Student Councils (CASC). June’s dedication to student leadership and the mission of CASC to develop skilled, ethical, and caring leaders touched countless students in California over her 40 years in that role. The program was also shared in other countries including Russia, China and Afghanistan. These young people are now using the things they learned at CASC in their personal and professional lives, many in leadership roles.

The impact of June, CASC and these students cannot be overstated.

Throughout her life June lived to the fullest, skiing and sailing, playing tennis, hosting dinner parties, and hosting wine tasting outings to Napa and beyond. Sailing on the bay and dropping anchor behind Angel island with friends and a bottle of good Cabernet for hours of swimming and conversation was a perfect day - worth a month’s vacation according to June.

June is survived by one cousin and countless grateful friends, colleagues and strangers who recognize her impact without even having met her.
