Kenneth Brook Baldwin was born in the George family farmhouse near Flomot, TX January 13, 1930 to William Wallace and Zara Rae George Baldwin. He completed his "home run" on February 5, 2024.

His game summary continued with his marriage to Anita Marguerite Tooley in May of 1955. For the following 68 years Ken and Anita shared teaching, traveling, and relishing family and friends. Following their time in Colorado, the Baldwin's spent many happy and productive years in Santa Fe before moving to Sherman, TX. to be near family.

Among other memorable runs, Ken was cowboy, craftsman, weaver, farmer, negotiator, legal assistant, and family historian.

During his 25 years as a teacher of mathematics in New Mexico and Colorado, Ken influenced and shaped the lives of countless students and colleagues. While in Boulder, Ken taught at Fair view High School and served as President of Boulder Valley Education Association.

Baldwin ended his time on the field with the words "in God's hands". His life showed an amazing trust in the Lord characterized by his gentleness, kindness, humility, generosity, and perseverance.

His final resting place is beside his Uncle Zollie, and his Grandparents, and other members of his family in the East Mound Cemetery of Matador, Texas.
