Virginia Ann Postle, 82, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 7th, 1942 in Los Angeles, Ca to her loving parents Edgar and Helen (Virginia) Zimmer, who, coincidentally, were also born on May 7th.

She was raised as an only child by her parents who instilled in her their values and beliefs in Christianity, love of music and the importance of education. Edgar was a printer by trade and later became a junior high graphic arts teacher while Virginia was growing up. Her mother Virginia was a devoted homemaker and later became an elementary school teacher.

Virginia played various sports while attending Westchester High School where she graduated in January, 1959. Her competitive spirit continued on into her college career at UCLA where she earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education. Following in her parents' footsteps she received her teaching credential and utilized her love of athletics as a junior high physical education teacher in the Los Angeles School District.

While attending UCLA Virginia met her husband Jim Postle and together moved to Boulder, CO in 1968. At the base of Haystack Mountain Virginia raised her three children Brian, Jamie and Tracy while providing accounting support for the family business. She enjoyed playing tennis, taking family trips, singing alto and tenor with the church choir, and contributing to community organizations including Daughters of the American Revolution, Zonta and her Lutheran Church. Virginia continued her education and received a Master's of Arts in Pastoral Ministry at St. Thomas Seminary. She dedicated her knowledge and faith to working with patients and their families as a Chaplain at St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver. In her later years Virginia enjoyed traveling and spent a portion of the year at her second home in Goodyear, AZ where she continued to work on her tennis game, dialed in her golf game, and mastered her cart driving skills.

She is predeceased by her parents and is survived by her 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and her sweet Havanese, George.

A memorial service will be held at Ryssby Church, 900 N. 63rd St. Longmont, CO at 11am on February 17th, 2025. Reception immediately following at Niwot Hall, 195 2nd Ave. Niwot, CO 80544.
