Lola Dixon Gaudreau was born on the family farm, just south of Louisville, CO cemetery to Charles and Addie Autrey Dixon. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sisters, Vera Dixon Taylor and Thelma Harvey. Lola was a fourth generation Coloradan. Her maternal great grandparents, the Hakes, settled in Superior around 1860 and her Dixon paternal grandparents in Louisville in 1880. Lola was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Colorado in Medical Technology and worked for 46 years, first at the Children's Hospital and later at University of Colorado Health. She enjoyed travel and exploring the family genealogy. Lola is survived by three nieces and a nephew. As per her wishes, there will be no services.
Should friends wish, donations are suggested in her name to the Louisville Historical Museum.
