A Longtime Resident of Boulder Creek, California

Donna Edward died at the age of 87 as a resident of Boulder Creek. Donna was born in Oakland and moved to the San Lorenzo Valley with her parents Duke and Flora Boykin in 1947. She spent 63 years with her beloved husband Joe E. Edward. Donna and Joe ran a thriving construction business until his death in 2016. Donna was surrounded by a large circle of friends who were always welcome to stop by the house on the hill for a cup of coffee and snacks. Donna was an extremely generous and giving woman. She was a devout Christian and believed in hard work above all else. She had a wild sense of humor and enjoyed sharing her stories. Donna was an avid reader and was interested in a wide range of topics and especially in people. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Joe and son Michael. She is survived by her devoted cousins and numerous friends.
