Aging budget forum

AgeWays Nonprofit Senior Services is holding a virtual public forum to gather input on its fiscal year 2026 implementation plan at noon May 19 via Zoom. The budget can be viewed starting May 5 at AgeWays.org.

Older adults, family caregivers, senior advocates, senior care professionals and other interested members of the public are invited to attend the forum. AgeWays serves Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Livingston Monroe, St. Clair and Washtenaw counties and funding comes from the state and federal governments. Bottle and can drive

• Woman’s Life Chapter 855 conducts a continuous bottle and can drive with drop off locations in Richmond and Memphis to help those in the community in need. They also offer a pick up service for larger donations. For more information, call 586-318-4053.

Health and Beauty items drive

• Right to Life of Michigan’s Macomb office will celebrate Mother’s Day with a health and beauty items drive May 1-16 collecting items for Gianna House. Donations of toothpaste and toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, combs, brushes, bar soap, body wash, deodorant and sanitary napkins can be dropped off at 27417 Harper, St Clair Shores. • Hearing Loss Association of America will hold a meeting from 1-3 p.m. May 22 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 38900 Harper Ave., Clinton Township. Angie Lederman, audiologist and owner of Hear Now Audiology & Tinnitus Center will do a hearing loss presentation on Powerpoint and then address tinnitus with questions.
