Sadly, we announce the passing of Laura Gertrude Teunissen, who transitioned in the comfort of her home, with family at her side, on March 13, 2025 at the age of 92.<br><br>Laura Teunissen was born on February 7, 1933, in Pasadena, California. She was a homemaker who loved her family wholeheartedly. She prioritized her family and friends, delighting in her one-on-one conversations with those around her, and building endearing lifelong bonds.<br><br>After raising her kids, she had many fun road trips with her husband of 74 years, Don, seeing the wonderful sights of the U.S. and Canada, and visiting friends along the way. Their vacation home in Colorado was a frequent stop and another opportunity to see her family there.<br><br>One of her absolute favorite events during the year was the family beach house vacations, full of the noise and laughter that she loved being a part of.<br><br>Laura Teunissen is survived by her husband, Donald, her sister, Marian Kennedy, her sons Lyle and Lynn, her daughter Cheryl, her daughter-in-law Tracee, her grandchildren: Chanel; Tanya; Jessica; Hannah; Zane and Eli, and her great grandchildren: River; Saffi; Jackson; Kennedy; Connor and Curtis. Sadly, she was predeceased by her daughter, Beryl, and her son-in-law, Larry.<br><br>There will be a service for family and friends at a later date.<br><br>Laura Teunissen will be remembered for giving her life to her family. She made the lives of her family better through her authenticity, courage, strength, wisdom, commitment, and hugs (her favorite joy).<br><div><br></div>
