


Good news about Marin people
Recognition: The North Bay Leadership Council announced its 2025 Leaders of the North Bay honorees this week. Some of the honorees include Anne Richman, executive director of the Transportation Authority of Marin; Dr. Armika Berkley, of Kaiser Permanente San Rafael; and San Rafael resident Amy Loflin, of Bank of America. Noble Peter-Frank, a senior at Archie Williams High School, was one of the winners of the Teen Leader Scholarship.
Scholarship: The Marin Irish American Club awarded $2,000 scholarships to Marin students Emanuel Medina, Alma Montoya, Julio Lazaro Oxias Saquiche, Joshua Peña, Megally Peña, Kateryn Michelle Sanchez Chicas, Maty Thiane and Bertha Velasquez, and $1,500 scholarships to Brendan Cassidy, Katherine King, Griffin Sean Madden, Nellie Sell and Emma Cahill Slaught. Slaught received the Ray and Bernadette Kelleher Scholarship for Academic Achievement and Sell received the John Trimble Service Award.
