Thunderstorms will rumble across the Florida Peninsula, central Arkansas and Louisiana. Meanwhile, a storm will spread showers to the Pacific Northwest and the higher terrain of Nevada, Idaho and Montana. In the highest elevations of the Washington Cascades, snow can mix with rain. Outside of these select areas, the United States will be rather dry. Warm air will expand across the Plains, Midwest and Mississippi Valley. Temperatures will be 10-20 degrees above average. Elsewhere, the Northeast will be cooling. Temperatures will be near to just below average. There can be morning frost across northern New England and the Adirondack Mountains. Along the East coast from Delaware to Florida, rough surf and dangerous seas will continue.
