Johni Broome had 16 points and 13 rebounds and No. 1 Auburn overcame a rough offensive performance to beat visiting Arkansas 67-60 on Wednesday night.

After winning at Alabama on Saturday in a game between the top teams in the poll, Auburn (24-2, 12-1 Southeastern Conference) avoided its second straight home loss.

Chad Baker-Mazara added 15 points for the Tigers.

Adou Thiero led Arkansas (15-11, 4-9) with 16 points.

The teams combined to hit 7 of 43 3-point attempts.

NO. 15 MISSOURI 110, NO. 4 ALABAMA 98: Mark Mitchell scored a career-high 31 points, Caleb Grill had 25 points and matched his career high with 10 rebounds and the host Tigers handed the Crimson Tide their second straight loss.

Missouri (20-6, 9-4 SEC) improved to 5-3 against ranked teams.

Mark Sears scored 35 points for Alabama (21-5, 10-3).

NO. 17 KENTUCKY 82, VANDERBILT 61: Otega Oweh scored 20 points and the host Wildcats beat the Commodores.

Kentucky (18-8, 7-6 SEC) led 41-40 at the half, but focused on going inside for its first three baskets of the second half and forced Vanderbilt to take a timeout three minutes in.

Devin McGlockton led the Commodores (17-9, 5-8) with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

WOMEN

NO. 5 UCONN 91, SETON HALL 49: Paige Bueckers had 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists to lead the visiting Huskies over the Pirates, the 41st straight victory for UConn (25-3, 15-0 Big East) over Seton Hall.

Yaya Lops scored 15 points for Seton Hall (18-8, 10-5).

NO. 10 TCU 82, ARIZONA STATE 66: Madison Conner scored all of her 22 points in the second half, Sedona Prince added 17 and the visiting Horned Frogs overcame a poor night from 3-point distance to beat the Sun Devils.

TCU (25-3, 13-2 Big 12) shot 7 of 22 from deep, allowing Arizona State (8-19, 2-13) to hang around. Tyi Skinner had 25 points to lead the Sun Devils.

NO. 23 CREIGHTON 65, ST. JOHN’S 62: Morgan Maly scored 20 points and the host Bluejays (22-4, 14-1 Big East) rallied in the fourth quarter to edge the Red Storm. St. John’s (14-12, 4-11) got 18 points from Lashae Dwyer.
