Trojan Emblem removed
From the Times-Call photo archive via Longmont Museum: “The Trojan Emblem was removed this week from the front of the Trojan Theatre as part of the remodeling going on there now. According to Richard Klein, owner of the theater, the emblem will be placed in a significant position on the back of the theater atop a new marquee, which will face the parking lot and be a part of the Heart of Longmont project designed to beautify the alleys and parking facilities of the downtown area. The Trojan Theatre is scheduled to be open by July 12 for the world premier of a new Walt Disney movie.” Originally published June 5, 1968.
