Matchbox Twenty lead singer Rob Thomas brings his latest solo project, “The All Night Days Tour,” to the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre in Sterling Heights this summer, promoters announced Tuesday.

Thomas, 53, will release his sixth solo album, “All Night Days,” this summer and follow it with a 25-date tour from Aug. 1 in Atlanta through Sept. 6 in Los Angeles, hitting cities including Nashville, Boston, Indianapolis, Houston and Las Vegas.

Fans can expect to hear Matchbox Twenty songs mixed in with the new album as well as a handful of cover tunes.

“I’m gearing up for ‘The All Night Days Tour’ at the end of this summer,” Thomas said in a news release. “After such amazing Matchbox shows in 2023 and 2024, it’s so great to revisit the solo catalog and share them with everyone! It’s also a great way to celebrate my new album, All Night Days, and the 20th anniversary of my first solo album, …Something To Be!”

Thomas has been the frontman for Matchbox Twenty, which has sold more than 40 million albums in a nearly 30-year span, and has had a solo career that moved about 18 million more including “Lonely No More” and “Her Diamonds.”

Produced by Live Nation, the Sterling Heights show will also include openers A Great Big World and The Lucky.

The general on sale for tickets begins at 10 a.m. Friday at robthomasmusic.com. See below for the full list of “The All Night Days Tour” concert dates.
