Convent defeated Marin Academy in a tiebreaker that went to the fifth scorecards after both teams finished at 191 on Thursday at Fleming Golf Course. Sterling Colpitts set the pace for the Wildcats (2-1) with a 44, while teammate Genevieve Zeches followed at 45.

• Lexi Ferguson’s 3-over 34 set the bar as Marin Catholic defeated Terra Linda, 174-206, at McInnis Park. Mia Walker led Terra Linda at 43.

• Lizzy Liu shot an even par 36 at Peacock Gap as the Branson School turned back Tam, 181-222, in an MCAL matchup. Alessia Ducati shot a 44 for Tam.

• The Giants’ Taylor Bridges fired a 35 as Redwood outshot Novato 158-265, at Marin Country Club. Hayley Picetti shot a 53 for Novato.

• Sammy Low was on track Wednesday with a 40 at Indian Valley to lead San Marin past Archie Williams, 195-250. Valentina Gudino fired a 42 for the Mustangs. Laiya Chiu led the Peregrine Falcons with a 60.

Prep field hockey

Marin Academy shut out Archie Williams, 2-0, on Wednesday, against a solid Falcons offense led by Finley Heller.

Prep baseball

San Rafael High catcher Cruz Wexler has announced his commitment to Claremont McKenna College. Wexler hit .262 in his junior season for the Bulldogs, who finished 7-16 in the spring.
