Resident of Martinez

Donna Rae Delchini passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, at the age of 85. She was born inMartinez, California, in 1940 to Louis and Rose Delchini.

Donna was a devout Catholic whose faith guided her throughout her life. She attended St. Catherine of Sienna Grade School, graduated from Alhambra H.S. class of 1958, and continued her education at Diablo Valley College.

Donna dedicated 32 years of service to Contra Costa County, retiring as a respected Court Administrator.

She had a deep love for travel and enjoyed many cruises and group tours over the years. Visiting family in Italy and Canada brought her great joy. One of her favorite pastimes was visiting casinos throughout Nevada and California. Bocce was her sport of choice, and in her younger years she treasured playing on a family team at the Martinez Marina.

Donna is survived by her lifelong partner of 52 years, Mario Ruggeri; sister Carol Wilcockson (Tony); sister-in-law Julie Delchini; her nephews Geoffrey Wilcockson (Katrina), John T. Delchini, and Nicholas Wilcockson; her great nieces Carlie Delchini, Rosie Delchini and Maddie Wilcockson. She was preceded in death by her brother John Delchini and great nephew Anthony Hamel.

She also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family who will cherish her memory.

Afuneral mass will be held March 4, 2026, at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, 606 Mellus Street, Martinez, California. A viewing will begin at 9:00 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.

A burial service will take place on March 5, 2026, at 11:00 am at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1965 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette, California.
