Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man accused of robbing a bank Tuesday afternoon in Frankfort, officials said.

The U.S. Bank, 9795 West U.S. 30, was robbed, and a “weapon was implied,” according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

The suspect is a 30- to 40-year-old white male, wearing blue jeans and a dark gray or black, long-sleeved shirt. He is approximately 6 feet tall with medium build, officials said.

The suspect fled westbound on foot, the Frankfort police statement said.
