Susan Louise Wreden passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 61 in San Francisco, CA. Susan was a beloved member of the community known for her dedication to detail, tie dye dresses, and generous heart.
Born on August 04, 1964 in San Francisco, Susan has called the North Bay her home for the last 45 years. She graduated from San Marin High School in 1982 and obtained her Associates in Accounting from the College of Marin soon thereafter. Susan worked as a bookkeeper for 40 years, with her most notable time spent working for Bilio the last 10 years. When she wasn’t working, Susan could be found spending her time supporting local businesses in the community and doing what she could to make a positive impact on the world.
Susan is survived in death by her husband, David; her children, Olivia, Chris, and James; her parents Len Golding and Louise Janigian; her brother John Golding; and her beloved German Shepherd Bamm Bamm. In addition to her intermediate family, Susan leaves behind many other family and friends that had a profound impact on her life.
Susan will be remembered for her unwavering integrity, her continuous support of others, and the love she had for her family and friends. Her kindness was a gift known to all. She was awell known figure in scouting community, recreational baseball, and various school activities throughout Novato Unified School District. She was a pioneer for all and fought to ensure everyone had access to the resources they needed. One of her most treasured possessions was the family and community she created in Novato over the last 30 years.
Services will be held on Wednesday November 5th at 11:30am at St. John’s Armenian Apostolic Church 275 Olympia Way San Francisco, 94131 followed by a burial at Valley Memorial Park 650 Bugeia Lane Novato, CA 94945 at 2pm. A celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Susan’s memory are encouraged to donate to their local food bank to help those in need, or to go support a local business in her honor.
