The Woodland Camera Forum will host a free presentation with local photographer Bill Wagnon, who will share some of his travel and other favorite photography images.
The presentation will take place on Monday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m. at the Living Hope Church, 240 N. West St. in Woodland.
Wagnon, a member of the Woodland Camera Forum for many years, will present some travel photos from Europe and some from the United States that he has taken over the past 40+ years. His love of photography began in 1981 when he was in chiropractic college. He had been given an old camera when he and his wife, Linda, took their two children to a park where he laid on the ground as his daughter led her brother away from him holding hands and snapped a simple photo of them in black & white.
“I’ve been hooked on photography ever since. I have gone through several cameras during that time as I’m guessing you have also done. I would love to share some of my travel and other favorite photography with you,” Wagnon says. “Friends and neighbors are always more than welcome to attend the Woodland Camera Forum. I hope to see you there.”
In addition to Wagnon’s images, members of the WCF will show some of their recent images for discussion and learning.
