Ochai Agbaji scored the go-ahead basket with 1:33 left in the fourth quarter and the host Toronto Raptors beat the Golden State Warriors 104-101 on Monday night.

Scottie Barnes scored 23 points and Jakob Poeltl had 13 points and 13 rebounds as the Raptors (9-31) won for just the second time in 18 games. Chris Boucher scored 18 points, RJ Barrett added 15, and Agbaji and Gradey Dick each had 12.

Steph Curry scored 26 points and Andrew Wiggins had 20 for the Warriors (19-20), who have four of their past five and are now below .500 for the first time this season.

Golden State’s Buddy Hield had one last chance for a game-tying shot, but his 3-pointer in the final seconds fell short.

PISTONS 124, KNICKS 119: Cade Cunningham scored 36 points, Malik Beasley had 22 and a pair of clutch 3-pointers in the final 40 seconds and surging Detroit beat host New York, its second straight victory over the Knicks.

Beasley was 6 for 8 behind the arc as the Pistons (21-19) won for the 10th time in 12 games.

Jalen Brunson had 31 points and 11 assists for the Knicks. Mikal Bridges added 27 points and Karl-Anthony Towns had 26 points and 12 rebounds.

TIMBERWOLVES 120, WIZARDS 106: Anthony Edwards scored 20 of his 41 points in the fourth quarter and visiting Minnesota overcome a sloppy first half and beat NBA-worst Washington.

Earlier Monday, Edwards was fined $50,000 by the NBA for an obscene gesture directed at an official in Saturday’s loss in Memphis.

Julius Randle added 20 points and 10 rebounds and Rudy Gobert had 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who committed 13 turnovers in the first half and briefly trailed the Wizards in the third quarter.

Kyle Kuzma scored 22 points and and Jordan Poole added 20 in Washington’s seventh straight loss.

ROCKETS 120, GRIZZLIES 118: Jalen Green tied his career high with 42 points, capped by a layup that gave host Houston the lead late, and the Rockets rallied for a win over Memphis.

It was the Rockets’ fourth straight win overall and second in a row over the Grizzlies.

Ja Morant swished a 38-footer to put the Grizzlies up by 12 with about eight minutes to go. Morant had 29 points for the Grizzlies, and Desmond Bane scored 25.

BULLS’ CRAIG OUT AT LEAST TWO WEEKS WITH ANKLE SPAIN: Chicago Bulls forward Torrey Craig has a sprained right ankle and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

The 34-year-old Craig hasn’t played since scoring a season-high 18 points in a 115-108 victory at Charlotte on Dec. 30. He has appeared in just nine games in his second season with Chicago, averaging 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds.

Chicago is 18-21 after losing 124-119 to Sacramento on Sunday.

Craig made his NBA debut with Denver in 2017. He has career averages of 6.0 points and 4.0 rebounds.
