It was hot rod time in Pomona on Monday.

The Hot Rod Power Tour West stopped by the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip as it continued its tour.

Some who’d registered ahead of time got to drag race around the track.

In addition to watching the races, guests got to meet motorsport celebrities and check out nearly 7,000 classic cars and trucks that were on display.

The event also offered live entertainment and a sneak peek at a new film called “Love Letter to the V8, a MotorTrend Documentary Special.”

The Hot Rod Power Tour West will move on to San Diego today, and to the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio on Wednesday.

The tour was launched in 1995 by the Hot Rod magazine staff as a way to connect with readers, a news release states.
