She is survived by her husband, Wallace Sheehan, Jr., who was her loving husband of over 66 years. Their relationship was one of such love and companionship. Her three children Jennifer (Armstrong), Elizabeth Sheehan and Matthew Sheehan and their spouses, Tom, Randall and Paula all are very grateful to have had such awonderful and devoted Mother. Carol also had six grandchildren: Jacob Swarthout (28), Grace Swarthout (26), Catherine Armstrong (23), Sarah Armstrong (23), Natalie Sheehan (19) and Lucas Sheehan (17). Her pride in them was immense and their love for her was enormous.
