Born February 20, 1959 and passed away suddenly on March 15, 2024. Elvira is survived by her heartbroken son Anthony Jerome Baker, who was everything to her.

Also survived by daughter-in-law Valeria and her beloved grandchildren, Maximus and Kiara; her sisters Teresa and Juanita; and brothers Miguel, Luis, Gabriel, and Marcos, along with many nieces and nephews.

A dear friend to many, she loved laughing, spending time with family and friends, camping, hiking, games and traveling. Her kindness and generosity extended to family, friends and older dogs that needed loving homes. Her quick wit and sense of humor will be sorely missed.

Elvira graduated from Tulare Union High School in 1977 where she was known for her friendly, smart, funny, straight shooter nature as well as being a competitive gifted athlete. She was highly involved in school activities, student government and excelled in Cross Country, Track and on the first Female Basketball team her senior year when she received Outstanding Female Athlete.

She supported herself and son Anthony while continuing her studies and receiving her BA in Organizational Behavior at University of San Francisco.

Elvira spent her 40 year career in Medical Devices, collecting lifelong friends from Syva, Boston Scientific, Maquet and most recently Neotract/Teleflex. She was well liked and respected for her accomplishments and sharp intellect by suppliers and colleagues alike.

Friends and family are invited to Tipton-Pixley Cemetery June 1st at 9:00 am tobless her ashes and lay Elvira to rest. ACelebration of Life and lunch to follow, with location and time to be announced.

In the Bay Area, there will be aCelebration of Life on Sunday, June 9th at 2:00 in the family’s Campbell home.
