Birds and Gardens presentation

• Harrison Township Beautification Commission presents, ‘Hummingbirds and Orioles and how to attract them to your Garden’ from 9-11 a.m. at St. Hubert Church Activity Center, 38775 Prentiss, Harrison Township. Learn how to cover the needs of these migrant birds with what you plant and what feeders you use. Tickets are $25 per person and registration takes place at the Township offices. Bottle and can drive

• Woman’s Life Chapter 855 conducts a continuous bottle and can drive with drop off locations in Richmond and Memphis to help those in the community in need. They also offer a pick up service for larger donations. For more information, call 586-318-4053.

Car Show

Chorus seeks singers

• St. Clair Shores Community Chorus seeking singers in the community interested in joining our Fall 2025 session for holiday performances. First session is at 7 p.m. Sept. 2 at Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church, 22360 13 Mile Road, St Clair Shores and practices are at 7:30 p.m. Mondays thereafter. Diaper Drive

Right to Life of Michigan’s Macomb Educational Resource Center is collecting diapers and baby wipes to help local crisis pregnancy centers and baby pantries. Garden Walk

• Warren Garden Club hosting 21st annual Garden Walk from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. July 19. There are 11 locations on the walk and there will be a Historic Marker brochure to visit other sites not included in the walk. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 on the day of the walk and are available at Gardens and Beyond, Greco’s Nursery, Jim’s Florist or Kutchey Family Market.
