Longmont

• Ninth Avenue between Corey Street and Martin Street: Expect vehicle traffic delays on Ninth Avenue. Left and/or right lane closures eastbound and westbound on Ninth through Aug. 16. Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Fifth Avenue: Full closure of both lanes on Fifth Avenue just west of Coffman Street. Traffic on Fifth Avenue heading west from Main Street will only be able to turn right onto northbound Coffman Street. Traffic heading east on Fifth from Bross will need to detour to Fourth or Sixth avenues. Work will take place from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. through July 30.

• Traffic control on Longs Peak Avenue: Atwood Street closure between Sixth Avenue and Eighth Avenue. Longs Peak Avenue closure between Collyer Street and Baker Street. Work will take place from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. through Aug. 18.

Boulder County

• Ogallala Road repairs between Colo. 119 and North 83rd Street: Road maintenance will be repairing Ogallala Road on both sides of the BNSF train tracks just east of Colo. 119. The work will require a full roadway closure from 7 a.m. Monday, July 14, through 4 p.m. Thursday, July 17.

• Sugarloaf Road culvert replacement at Betasso Road: Multiple culvert replacements on Sugarloaf Road at Betasso Road will require lane closures and traffic shifts, which will result in travel delays of up to 15 minutes. Work is anticipated to last through October.

• City of Boulder 63rd Street waterline replacement: The city of Boulder is conducting a waterline replacement project that will have several traffic impacts from July 14 through February. Throughout the project, 63rd Street/Andrus Road/62nd Street will be closed between Jay and Valmont and open to local and business access only. As the first phase winds down in August, both lanes of traffic on 63rd Street between Gunbarrel Avenue to the 63rd Street railroad crossing will shift to the east side of 63rd Street.

• Colo. 119 safety, mobility and bikeway construction: CDOT will begin work on Colo. 119/Diagonal Highway. This project is anticipated to be completed in spring 2027.

Frederick

• Waterline installation: Thalle Construction is installing a 42-inch waterline as part of the Thornton Water Project. The waterline will pass through two miles of the Frederick Planning Area. The pipeline will be installed at a depth of at least 4 1/2 feet, with crossings under WCR 14 and WCR 16 at 6 feet deep. To install the pipeline, planned 72-hour road closures will be necessary WCR 14 in mid-March, WCR 17 in mid-June and WCR 16 in early July.

• Tipple Parkway turn lane: Turner Construction will begin improvements at Tipple Parkway and Eagle Boulevard, installing a dedicated turn lane to improve traffic flow in the area, on Monday. Traffic will remain open on Tipple Parkway, but lane shifts and access delays are expected. Work will take place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Landscape and striping work will be completed in late July.

Erie

• WCR 7 waterline improvements: The town of Erie is working on the WCR 7 Waterline Improvements project. This project will install a new transmission waterline to secure the future delivery of potable water, impacting approximately 2.7 miles of WCR 7 and requiring significant traffic changes. Expect full closures between WCR 12 and Colo. 52, and single-lane traffic south to Erie Parkway through mid-August.
