Mayor Lightfoot saidshe was concerned for other Black and brown women who may be under the same trauma of a botched raid that was done in Chicago. My question is are we only concerned with the Black and brown women. What about all women? What about white women? Everybody else? All women she should be concerned about.

Carol, Orland Park

Mayor Lightfoot hasknown about the raid for over a year yet she kept it quiet, she lied about it. Why can’t she be fired. Where’s all these people that go after her jobs? Where’s Jesse Jackson at? Where’s all the other pastors at? This lady is our mayor and she lied and she hid stuff, worse than police did. She thinks she is untouchable.

Mayor Lightfoot isnow backtracking that she knew about a horrible police raid on an innocent victim in February 2019. Now she says she knew about it but is using a ton of excuses of how she forgot, trying to make excuses for getting caught in a lie. I am not sure how anyone could forget the police episode that was just all over the news. Isn’t this the same person who campaigned on police accountability.

I read the CEOof Chicago Public Schools is getting a $40,000 a year raise to bring her salary up to $300,000. I don’t want to hear none of these governments crying about hurting for money. If you can give an individual that big of a pay raise that doesn’t deserve it in these economic times, it’s just unbelievable. Nobody is worth that much money, especially somebody in the teaching industry.

This is the timeof year when school districts print their annual financial statements. I am always amazed at how many people make over $90,000 per year. Even in small districts. I guess it’s all for the kids, right?

Congratulations to the Blackhawks for not caving in to the anarchists and changing your team name. God bless you and good luck all season.

Are the Illinois Tollwaycollectors laid off collecting unemployment or still paid by the tollway authority? All of these jobs should have been eliminated and cut the tolls in half.
