One injured after car crashes into eatery
A 19-year-old woman was injured Tuesday night when a car drove into Nori’s Ham & Corned Beef Restaurant in Macomb Township and struck an employee.
According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle occupied by a juvenile driver and parent passenger crashed through the front of Nori’s at approximately 7:37 p.m. The restaurant is located near 21 Mile and Hayes roads.
One female Nori’s employee was struck by the vehicle and was transported to Henry Ford Hospital. She is currently listed in stable condition.
The MCSO Crash Team is investigating and trying to determine what caused the crash. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
