Chicago man gets 9 years for laced drugs
A Chicago man was sentenced to nine years in federal prison Wednesday for dealing fentanyl-laced heroin. Clinton Williams, 48, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute heroin and fentanyl, U.S. Attorney Clifford Johnson said in a release.
Williams will also do four years of supervised release. Federal authorities allege Williams was “personally” involved with five drug deals from August 2021 to June 2022.
Gary man gets 35 years for molesting 4-year-old girl
A Gary man was sentenced to 35 years Wednesday for sexually abusing a 4-year-old girl.
Bobbie Lamb, 57, of the 4000 block of Grant Street, signed a plea deal filed Sept. 24 for level 1 felony child molesting. He faced 20 to 40 years.
Court records show it happened at a Gary home between August 2022 and June 2023.
