Dayne reveals she planned to die after cancer diagnosis

Iconic singer Taylor Dayne recently sat down for an interview with Parade, and she opened up about her recent battle against colon cancer.

The good news is that the 63-year-old is cancer free now, and she is even working on new music. But she told Parade that after she received her diagnosis in July of 2022 she went to Hawaii “to die.”

Instead of dying, she found the “most loving, helping, caring” people in Hawaii and that helped her figure out her purpose “more than I could have ever figured out my purpose.”
