Tons of money could be made if they would tax people with out-of-state license plates who are permanent residents of Illinois instead of charging us for other taxes. These people have been living like this for a long time and we have a lot more coming in with all the apartments that are going up in the state.
Why doesn’t the city of Chicago tear down abandoned buildings and houses? I don’t see either going away.
The Cubs’ Anthony Rizzo said that the baseball season is too long? Why didn’t the reporter ask him, “Why don’t you quit?” I have another suggestion Anthony: Why not tell management you only want to play home games and oh, at the same monetary contract of course.
Frankfort, in response to Judy’s comments about Anthony Rizzo, please do a little research before commenting. First off, I listened to the conversation and David Kaplan asked Rizzo that because of this weather, would you be in favor of shortening the season and taking less money? Rizzo responded, Kap, do I play this game for the money or the love of the game? Sure, I would take less money. Kaplan even asked him if he wouldn’t mind playing double headers more often in order to start the season later in April and Rizzo replied, yes. Rizzo is a cancer survivor and does as much if not more charity work for children with cancer than anyone in pro sports.
