A Gary woman faces charges for allegedly dealing drugs and synthetic marijuana out of a home with five kids.

Tyiana “Angel” Groce, 32, is charged with three counts of dealing in cocaine, one count of dealing in a schedule I controlled substance, five counts of neglect of a dependent, one count of dealing in marijuana and one count of maintaining a common nuisance.

She is not in custody. When arrested, she is ordered held on a $10,000 cash bond.

After an informant bought drugs twice — a “rock-like substance” — during “controlled” buys, police got a search warrant April 1 for the 400 block of Grant Street and arrested Groce nearby. She said there were drugs and money inside, but not guns.

Cocaine, marijuana, digital scales, cash and a couple of guns were found inside.

The children were aged 15 to an infant.
