Tattoo for Buckelew
Benefit for Buckelew Programs
WHAT’S HAPPENING? This annual fundraiser brings together a trio of Sonoma County tattoo studios, whose artists donate their time and tattooistry skills (wait, is “tattooistry” a word?), all to raise money for the suicide prevention programs at the nonprofit Buckelew. Described as a day of “tattoos, food and community,” the benefit offers ink-loving participants the opportunity to choose from one of several special flash tattoos, with designs posted the night before the event.
The artists of Petaluma Tattoo will be joined by guest tattooists from San Francisco, Los Angeles and Hawaii.
In addition to Petaluma Tattoo, participating Sonoma County tattoo studios are Santa Rosa’s Faith Tattoo and Sebastopol’s Hidden Coast Tattoo. All money raised (cash or Venmo only) will go to Buckelew. There will be food vendors, Hog Island oysters, raffles, temporary tattoos for kids, and lots of high energy fun.
WHO DOES IT HELP? Buckelew Programs has been providing compassionate mental health and substance use treatment services to the North Bay since 1970.offering accessible care for all.
