


SAN JOSE >> Two months after an armed robbery left a man with a gunshot wound in East San Jose, police announced Thursday that four suspects had been arrested on suspicion of multiple crimes, including attempted murder.
In a news release, police said the three men and one woman in their 20s were involved in an armed robbery July 4 on the 3300 block of Shadow Park Place. While responding to reports of a shooting in the area, officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
While investigating the incident, police identified the four suspects and obtained search and arrest warrants. The warrants for one of the suspects was served July 31, when a 27-year-old Milpitas man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, robbery and illegal firearm possession. Two guns were recovered by police.
The other three suspects were arrested Sept. 5 in the cities of San Jose, Milpitas and Cupertino.
The woman and two men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and robbery.
All four suspects remained in custody Thursday at Santa Clara County Main Jail.
