If the Cubs stay on track, they'll win the World Series again in the year 2124. Go Cubs.
In response to Pete in Chicago who stated that he doesn't believe in stats because sports writers only use them to glorify the Cubs: The Cubs victory parade was attended by 5 million people, which doubled the Bears, Blackhawks and Bears celebrations and was the seventh-largest gathering of people for an event in the world. That doesn't need to be glorified and get use to it for a while.

It's interesting to see the questioning of pollsters as to how they could be so wrong. Well, I will tell you why they were so wrong! It's because they did not deal in “unbiased accuracy,” they dealt in “unabashed influence peddling.” They mistakenly took the voting public as lemming-like automatons. Just accept our projections, because after all, they are “scientifically” calculated. If your candidate is projected to lose, there is no need to waste your time going to the polls. Ha, it seems those automatons do have minds of their own, and no amount of your bogus scientific polling influence could change them. We win, American voter, we win against the influence peddlers.

Kudos to the Cubs on their recent victory. What's sad is that people are willing to shell out thousands of dollars to see a bunch of grown men play a kids' game while there are others living in boxes and going hungry. Talk about distorted priorities.

To Chicago's mayor and the aldermen who took down the Trump sign in an act of childlessness, I say to them now, no federal money for you.
