Passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024. She is survived by her children Gregg (Jenny) Gunter, Laurie Gunter, Sue (Brian) Kurzhal, Nancy (Brad) Sauer; nine grand children Sam (Celeste) Joachim, Ellen (Taylor) Moran, Brianne (Josh Bannink) Kurzhal, Melissa (James) Forkner, Andrew Joachim, Alison (Adam) Valenty, Anna Gunter, Nicole (Kevin) Gavey and Maia Gunter; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Margaret Schulenburg; and two brothers. Carol was born in St. Paul, MN and was a long time East-Sider.<br><br>She spent her career as an X-ray technician at a private family medical practice in St. Paul. She loved to travel, bake, cook, crochet, and card making. Most of all, she loved her family and was greatly loved in return.<br><br>A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St. North in Oakdale, MN, at 11 am on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, with a visitation one hour prior.<br><br>Burial will follow at Guardian Angels Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the ALS Association of Minnesota.<div></div><br>
