The Dodgers hope they don’t hear “New York, New York” — the Yankees’ victory song by Frank Sinatra — after Tuesday night’s game in the Bronx.

If that wish comes true, they’ll have punched their ticket to a World Series victory parade in Los Angeles.

The Dodgers entered Game 4 with a strong grip on the series, which they led three games to none over the New York Yankees. A fourth victory would earn them a sweep of the Bronx Bombers and their second championship in four years — and the team’s first in a full season since 1988.

Should the Yankees take Tuesday’s game, they’d still have a steep hill to climb in the best-of-seven series, which has one more game scheduled in New York City before returning to L.A. on Friday.
