


Woodland Community College, located at 2300 E. Gibson Road, invites the campus and surrounding community to a week of celebration, creativity, and student achievement through major events happening this week.
Thursday, May 15 — Mural Unveiling Celebration
At 11 a.m. in Community Room 800, Woodland Community College will host the unveiling of a new mural created by students in the Art 11 Mural Painting class, led each spring by Professor Manuel Rios. This vibrant and collaborative artwork symbolizes the college’s commitment to inclusivity, expression, and cultural pride. All are welcome to attend and meet the student artists behind the project.
Friday, May 16 — Woodland Community College Commencement Ceremony
The week concludes with WCC’s 2025 Commencement Ceremony, honoring the achievements of this year’s graduating class. The ceremony will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Beeghly Rose Garden Stage. Family, friends, faculty, and community members are invited to celebrate this milestone as students take their next steps forward in education, careers, and service.
