Get ready to sparkle this Mother’s Day Weekend! The Interact Clubs of Estes Park High School and Estes Park Middle School—powered by the Estes Park Rotary and Estes Valley Sunrise Rotary—are rolling up their sleeves for a sudsy fundraiser you won’t want to miss!

Join us for a community car wash this Saturday, May 10, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Estes Park Lumber Yard, 400 S St. Vrain Ave.

Let our amazing student volunteers wash away the road grime while you enjoy some community spirit—and help support great causes in the process! Donations will support Interact-led service projects, including Operation Christmas Child Boxes and a donation to The National Parks.

Bonus for Moms!

Since it’s Mother’s Day weekend, every mom who stops by will receive a special Mother’s Day surprise—because she deserves more than just breakfast in bed!

Why It Matters

Last year, Interact Club members braved the chill during the Catch the Glow parade and raised nearly $600 by serving up hot chocolate and hot cider and shown good stewardship of those funds through service projects such as international microloans through Kiva.org and saving to sponsoring a local Bright Christmas family for 2025. This car wash is another chance for students to live out Rotary’s motto: “Service Above Self.” These young leaders meet regularly to learn about service, ethics, and leadership, guided by the Rotary 4-Way Test:

-Is it the truth?-Is it fair to all concerned?-Will it build goodwill and better friendships?-Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

More Opportunities for Students

Know a young leader in the making? The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) and Young RYLA camps at YMCA of the Rockies are accepting applications now! Students finishing 7th grade can attend Young RYLA, and those completing grades 10-12 are eligible for RYLA. Visit rockymountainryla.org to apply. Scholarships are available—even for those not in Interact. Students say it’s life-changing—and it looks great on a college or job resume!

Drive Up, Give Back, and Make a Difference!

Mark your calendar and bring your dirty car, your generous heart, and your best Mother’s Day vibes. We’ll see you Saturday, May 10th, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Estes Park Lumber Yard.
