Nancy H. Hills passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan on February 11, 1947.
After graduating from Waterford- Kettering High School, Nancy studied Communications and English/Secondary Education at Michigan State, earning her B.A. degree. She also earned her M.A. degree in Counseling/ Psychology from Wayne State and later attended Madonna University to study sign language.
For most of her career, Nancy worked as an investigative social worker for the State of Michigan, Family Independence Agency. She was devoted to helping the clients she served in the city of Detroit. Nancy was a passionate lover of dogs and cats. She was an advocate for the fair treatment of those with disabilities, especially the hard of hearing. She was a faithful attender of worship services and bible studies at St. Gerald Catholic Church.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Phyllis (Moody) and Richard Hills. She is survived by many cousins and friends.
