Aug. 6: Summer adventure. First on today’s adventure is a MYSTERY STOP (???), followed by lunch at Grosse Pointe’s Village Grill, Wednesday, Aug. 6. Afterwards, we’re off to a cruise along the sparkling blue waters of the Detroit River aboard the Diamond Jack. This nicely narrated 1 1/2 hour cruise will provide us with the opportunity to see such landmarks as the Manoogian Mansion, Detroit Yacht Club, Belle Isle Bridge, Renaissance Center, Detroit and Windsor’s riverfront parks, Ambassador Bridge, as well as a glimpse of the Gordie Howe Bridge.
