Interesting events this weekend in Marin

• The Marin Amateur Radio Society participates in the American Radio Relay League’s 2025 Field Day — a nationwide competition for amateur radio operators to show off their skills and earn points by contacting other stations — by setting up a temporary station from 11 a.m. Saturday to 11 a.m. Sunday at Picnic Area 1 at Stafford Lake Park at 3549 Novato Blvd. in Novato. • Marin History Museum’s Marcie Miller hosts a “Prohibition-Style Afternoon” beginning with a walking tour of Fairfax at noon Sunday starting at the Fairfax Theatre at 9 Broadway, followed by mixology lessons and demonstrations from speakers (including Marin IJ columnist Jeff Burkhart) discussing Marin’s Prohibition-era history until 5 p.m. at Mac’s at 19 Broadway in Fairfax.
