Christmas sing-a-long event at the Superior Community Center
The Superior Community Center will host a night of Christmas carols and hot cocoa.
Community members can meet from 5-8 tonight at the community center, 1500 Coalton Road, to sing over 25 Christmas songs together. The Serendipity Tap and Cafe at the center will be open so singers can purchase hot cocoa and other treats.

BOULDER
City seeking volunteers to serve on boards and commissions
Boulder is seeking volunteers who wish to serve on the city’s boards and commissions.
Board and commission members work with city staff and councilmembers to examine current issues and make recommendations that can help shape the city’s future.
There are 20 different boards and commissions with vacancies to fill in 2024. Some of these include the Housing Advisory Board, Open Space Board of Trustees, Planning Board and Transportation Advisory Board.
The city is accepting applications until Jan. 29. Interested community members are encouraged to apply at bit.ly/4atmotU. Applicants must have lived in Boulder for at least a year prior to March 2024. For most boards and commissions, applicants must be at least 18 years old, but the minimum age to serve on the Beverage Licensing Authority or Cannabis Licensing Advisory Board is 21.

BCH Foundation receives $1M to support workforce
The Boulder Community Health Foundation has received more than $1 million in funding support BCH health care workers and staff.
The Leo Hill Charitable Trust contributed this funding as a series of gifts. The last of this funding was given to the foundation on Sunday, which would have been the 100th birthday of Boulder business and community Leo Hill, for whom the trust is named.
According to a news release, the funding will be used to establish the Leo and Betty Lue Hill Legacy Endowment, which will support investments to help BCH improve its recruitment and retention of health care workers and staff.
