Former Campbell star receiver Sincere Brown is heading to Boulder.
On Sunday, Brown announced that he is transferring to Colorado to play for the Buffaloes and head coach Deion Sanders for his final season of college football.
Listed as 6-foot-5, 190-pounds by Campbell, Brown is from Charleston, S.C., and will be heading into his sixth season of college football.
This past season, Brown exploded for 61 catches for 1,028 yards and 12 touchdowns, earning first-team All-Coastal Athletic Association honors. Brown finished the 2024 season tied for seventh in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) in receiving touchdowns and ranking 19th in receiving yards.
Brown began his college career with three years at South Florida (2020-22), where he played with now former Buffs receivers Xavier Weaver and Jimmy Horn Jr. He played in 10 games during his three years with the Bulls, catching one pass for 19 yards.
After transferring to Campbell in August of 2023, Brown appeared in just one game for the Camels that season and did not catch a pass.
This past season, Brown busted loose, beginning with a five-catch, 126-yard performance in Campbell’s 2024 season-opening loss to Liberty. Catching at least one pass in all 12 games for the Camels, Brown posted five 100-yard games and recorded at least 60 yards in 10 games.
Brown brings size and speed to the Buffs’ receiver room. He posted on social media a chart from his time at USF when he clocked in at 23.39 miles per hour — faster than both Weaver (22.4) and Horn (22.05).
He also brings experience to a room that includes just one other senior (Terrell Timmons Jr.). Brown has more career catches (62) than anyone in the room. Prior to Brown’s commitment, sophomore Drelon Miller had the most with 32.Brown is the second transfer addition to CU’s receiver room this offseason.
The Buffs added former Tulsa star Joseph Williams in January.
With the spring transfer portal opening this week, however, the Buffs could add more to the room.
With Brown’s addition, the Buffs have 10 scholarship receivers.
At 6-5, Brown would be one of the tallest receivers in program history, including CU hall of famer Dave Logan, who played from 1972-75 and was listed by the Buffs at 6-5.
Only three other receivers in the CU record book who lettered are listed as being that tall: walk-on Robert Orban (2015-16) listed at 6-6; and Jarrod Darden (2012) and Tyler McCulloch (2011-14) both listed at 6-5.
